In a tragic accident that happened in the early morning hours of 28 August, a motorcyclist died after hitting a cat on the road.
Info Roadblock JPJ/POLIS reports that the fatal crash took place in front of the Baling District Office in Kedah where the motorcyclist lost control of his bike and hit a decorative pot at the side of the road.
The motorcyclist succumbed to injuries and died at the scene while the cat also died at the same location.
Photos of the incident show ambulance arriving at the scene while the cat’s carcass was seen placed at the side of the road after the collision.
In regards to this case, the Malaysia Animal Association writes in their Facebook page:
“Even if you’re an animal lover or not involved with animals whatsoever, it’s encouraged to have the Personal Accident Protection Takaful Plan prepared by Animal Malaysia as a death or permanent disability risk.”
