MIECC Mega Vaccination Centre At Seri Kembangan Will Begin Operations Tomorrow (14 June)

MIECC is located right beside The Mines shopping mall. 

To accelerate the vaccination process, another mega vaccination centre at the MINES International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC), Seri Kembangan, Selangor will operate starting tomorrow (14 June 2021).

According to the Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF), although the maximum capacity of MIECC is 8,000 people, the scheduled appointments for the first day at MIECC is restricted to 4,900 people to ensure smooth operations.

The numbers will be ramped up to the centre’s full capacity gradually, and the public is advised to check their MySejahtera application to verify the details of their Covid-19 vaccination appointment.

Individuals are also urged to not show up too early, but approximately 30 minutes early to prevent congestion. Appointments at the MIECC vaccination centre will begin from 9am till 8pm.

In a Twitter posting by the Chief Executive Officer at ProtectHealth Corporation, Anas Alam Faizli, it is shown that the MIECC mega vaccination centre is all ready for operations tomorrow. The opening of the centre is in line with the government’s commitment to ensure that the vaccination rate is consistent and to accelerate the country’s vaccination program.

As of yesterday (12 June 2021), the total number of vaccine dose administered has increased to 4,361,358. To register for vaccination, you can do it on JKJAV’s official website here or via the MySejahtera application.
