We’re not even fooling around! Michelle Obama and Julia Roberts are now in Malaysia for the Obama Foundation Leaders: Asia-Pacific Programme. During the conference, they will talk about the Girls Opportunity Alliance and the power of global girls’ education in the current era.

A tweet was shared by BERNAMA and it featured a picture of Michelle Obama, Julia Roberts as well as moderator of the conference, Miss Malaysia World and Fugee School Co-founder Deborah Henry, on stage whilst the conference was commencing.

A thread on Lowyat suggested that the Obamas may be in Bangsar South as a netizen claimed that there was strict security since this morning due to the Obamas being in Malaysia. That said, we cannot verify if the Obamas are actually in Bangsar South.

If you didn’t know, this gathering is for 200 upcoming leaders from Asia-Pacific countries and they will be a “part of a year-long programme focused on values-based, ethical leadership”. This programme will last until the 14th of December 2019, which is until this week Saturday. You can read more about the programme by clicking the link below.
