A Malaysian cabin crew member was found dead in her hotel room during a layover in Tokyo on May 20th. Malaysia Airlines have confirmed the passing of Norzana Hanim Hamzah in a statement.

According to Malaysia Airlines, Norzana was on a layover in Tokyo after completing a flight to Narita International Airport. She was scheduled to operate the return flight to Kuala Lumpur the following day.

“Forever united by wings!”

Malaysia Airlines has reached out to Norzana’s family and will provide them with necessary assistance during this challenging period.

The statement of the post mentioned,

“Please send your words of support to our friends at Malaysia Airlines and the crew member’s loved ones.”

However, the cause of Norzana’s death has not been confirmed, but official statements from the MH crew community suggest that she may have suffered a fall while getting ready for her return flight.

We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of the Malaysian cabin crew member. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time.
