Ever been in a very desperate situation where you had to go above and beyond your creativity just to send out an SOS?
Recently, a man in China tried to get the attention of passersby by tossing money just so they would help him out of his unfortunate situation.
According to Shanghaiist, the man had experienced a cardiac arrest when he was on his way back home to Qinhuangdao, China to visit his ailing mother. According to him, while he was rushing back home, he started feeling a sharp pain in his chest, and immediately started looking through his bag for his pills.
Unfortunately, the pain became more severe that it almost paralysed him as he was unable to open the medicine bottle or ask for help. Oh dear!
Simultaneously, he also started coughing out blood onto the ground. However, instead of laying around helpless, he began scattering around 100 yuan (RM62) notes to attract passersby, so that they would help him. Quick thinker!
Here’s the video of him trying to get the public to help him:

Then, a police officer named Lin who was patrolling outside the Shijiazhuang Railway Station, in the Hebei province, noticed the man and immediately came to his rescue. Initially, Lin thought the man was drunk but when he saw that he was coughing up blood, Lin immediately knew that he was in a serious situation. Thank goodness!
Instantly, Lin called in for help and fed the man his medicine as he was unable to feed himself. After a while, the man started feeling better and soon, some medical workers arrived to check on him. They only allowed the man to go after his blood pressure had returned back to normal.
Well, the man’s situation was definitely unfortunate but thankfully, he was a quick enough to come up with a solution for his situation. Now you know how to get the public’s attention next time you’re in a critical situation too!
