Malaysia’s Trending ‘Alamak’ Raya Song Challenge has Travelled All the Way to INDIA!

The “Alamak Raya Lagi” trend has just made its way to Japan just days ago. The catchy Hari Raya song by local trio De Fam has once again crossed borders, this time making its way to India!

User @yourstrulysasha took to her Instagram to share a short clip, created by @bavanie, with choreography by their friend Santosh, of her and her friends joining in the “Alamak Raya Lagi” trend.

“Alamak Raya Lagi” is finally catching up with others!

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Sasha shared how her Malaysian friends visited her in India. During their stay, they told her and others about the ‘Alamak’ trend taking place.

Sasha said that she and her friends found the trend intriguing, so they all decided to join in and participate for fun!

“Our Malaysian friends visited us in India and told us about the ‘Alamak’ trend. We decided to join in just for fun.”

De Fam singer Azira Shafinaz took notice

One of the song’s original vocalists, @azirashafinaz, noticed the group’s video and even thanked them by joining the trend in the comments!
