If you’re looking to change your laptop, now may just be the best time for you to do so! There will be a new laptop brand called Avita that’s entering the market soon. The best news is that the prices for their vibrant and high-powered laptops will start from RM688, if you’re lucky enough to score one! Yes, it’s real!

Avita originates from the US and is brought to Malaysia under Hong Kong-based Nexstgo Company Ltd. The brand started penetrating the region last year in Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan before finally entering Malaysia in February this year.

The first of its range to launch in Malaysia would be the fashion-oriented Liber range, according to the Star. Now, if you ever wanted to own a cool and fashionable laptop that could totally double as your next fashion accessory, then look no further than the Liber range.

Prices range between RM1,799 to RM4,399 depending on your specifications but as part of their launch promotion, they are offering the first 50 lucky customers the 13.3in model at RM688, down from RM2,299. Massive discounts! You just need to head over to their pop-up store in Notebook Pro at Digital Mall in PJ, and Firestorm Digital at Low Yat Plaza on Feb 10 to score one. Mark your calendars!

The Liber range was made to target younger users and you can choose from 10 gorgeous colours to suit your personality. If you are bored of the usual dull black, grey or silver laptops, then you can choose from Purple, Angel Blue, Cloud Silver, Champagne Gold, Fragrant Lilac, Matt Black, Pearl White, Princess Pink, Space Grey and Urban Ruby. In addition, Avita says that there are even more colours that will be added to the range later. OMG, nice!

If this range of colours doesn’t satisfy you and you want to personalise your laptop even more, fret not because Avita’s got you covered. By late 2018, you can create your own customised casing patterns as the company plans on collaborating with local designers to make this available for customers. Yay, your very own design!

Nexstgo chief executive officer Alex Chung said during the launch in Kuala Lumpur, “Avita’s brand philosophy is to allow our customers to express themselves through technology and we aim to do this through our vibrant Liber range.”

Looks like we can have much more laptop choices in the future!
