Sure, by now, there are an abundant Italian restaurants in the Klang Valley that serve top-notch pasta dishes, but if you’re looking for a more affordable alternative that you can dine in during the week, consider these places that won’t set you back at more than RM15!
1. RM5 at Little Fat Duck
Come here on a weekday and you’ll get to enjoy their special pasta of the day at only RM5! Can’t beat that price! Even if you’re not feeling the daily special, their other pasta options on the menu won’t burn a hole in your pocket as they’re super affordable at just RM6.
Psst… there’s even a value meal set at RM9.90 for pasta, a drink and dessert!

2. RM5 at The Humble Chef
The Humble Chef definitely welcomes its patrons with humble prices too. During its inception, this restaurant started as a food truck near HELP university in Damansara Heights. Remember those late night supper sessions during college? Now, they’ve upgraded to a physical store but still maintains an affordable price point on all its menu items.

3. RM9.90 at Oregi
If you often hang out in Subang to shisha, chances are you’ve been here and are familiar with its medley of Arabic and Western cuisine. In its menu, you’ll find a pretty good list of pasta with portions that are available in 3 sizes – regular, large and giant – at prices that won’t cut any throats.

4. RM11.50 at Piccadilly
Looking at their extensive menu, they seem to have all cuisines under one roof, which of course, includes the Italian staple with fairly inexpensive prices starting from RM11.50! From Bolognaise meatballs to creamy carbonara and lasagna, they’ve got quite a number of varieties too for each pasta dish.

5. RM12.70 at Murni Discovery
Popular for their local-fusion cuisine, this lepak spot houses plenty pasta options with pocket-friendly pricing of RM12.70 onwards. Portions are pretty generous here and they’re not stingy with ingredients too so you’ll definitely leave feeling satisfied!

6. RM14 at Decanter
For a slightly atas feel sans the OTT price tag, this place is comfy enough for you to enjoy your comfort food well after you’re done and into a food coma. With prices starting from RM14 for a vegetarian pasta and RM15 for a mushroom-filled aglio olio, it’s definitely reasonable enough if you’re on a budget but appreciate a cosy ambience.
