Malaysia has recorded its lowest increase since the movement control order (MCO) with 10 new Covid-19 cases as of 28 May 2020. This brings the total number of infections in the country to 7,629, according to The Ministry of Health.

Out of the 10 new cases, five are foreigners while the other five are locals – two from Kuala Lumpur, two from Selangor and one from Pahang.

Zero deaths have also been recorded maintaining the death toll at 115 cases.

86 more patients have recovered which brings the total number of recoveries to 6,169, while 1,345 cases remain active.

As of now, eight patients are in the intensive care unit (ICU) with four needing breathing assistance.

This is great news for our country, but the battle is not over yet. Please remember to maintain social distancing and avoid crowded places.
