Recently, it was reported that former Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob is being investigated by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) over alleged corruption and money laundering after they seized around RM170 million in cash, including foreign currencies, along with 16kg of pure gold bars worth nearly RM7 million.
However, it appears that the questioning process by MACC is expected to be postponed until next week due to his health problems.

According to a report by Berita Harian, an MACC source revealed that they will record Ismail Sabri’s statement after ensuring that he is in a healthy state, as the former Prime Minister and Bera MP has taken sick leave (MC) until next Wednesday (March 12).
“He was supposed to appear tomorrow (March 7), but we understand that he is not fully recovered and we are very concerned about his health to take any further action,” they shared.
This left Malaysians stumped and questioning just how sick the former Prime Minister truly is

“Why is it that when SPRM wants to investigate, he’s admitted to a hospital lah, he’s extended his MC lah. Before this, he could go overseas, walk here and there, he even went to Parliament. Very clearly can see. People are not that stupid.”

“This is the SOP that differentiates the classes. If it were regular folks, they’d be dressed in orange already. If it’s those who pocket millions, they can rest at home or in the VIP ward first.”

“He can even get an MC? It’s not a small amount, it’s RM170 million and they’re giving him a chance, just for an MC.”

“Do name the doctor who gave the MC. I would like to get to know them. Next time, it’ll be easier for me to get an MC.”
Late last month, former Prime Minister Ismail Sabri allegedly fainted and was admitted to a hospital for high blood pressure.
