On Monday, the 26-year-old victim, Xu Jia Ling went out for lunch with the 44-year-old suspect at a restaurant in Klang. The suspect viciously stabbed Jia Ling multiple times outside his car after lunch before carrying her into the car and driving her corpse to his house. The suspect tried to wake the victim up but to no avail, and he harmed himself with the same murder weapon.

In just 3 hours, a team of policemen reached the suspect’s house and made an arrest, where they also found Jia Ling’s corpse in the passenger seat of his car. The medical team then confirmed her death.

The police also confirmed that the cause of death was the stab in her chest which penetrated the heart.

According to reports by China Press, the suspect, who has been showing interest in Jia Ling for 2 years invited her for lunch. She informed her BF about the lunch, and the last message that he received from Jia Ling was at 1:30 pm on Monday. When the suspect was arrested, he initially told the police that he was Jia Ling’s BF.

Her family members, however, never knew about the suspect’s existence. At the time of writing, PDRM is still investigating the motive behind the murder.

Police also confirmed that the suspect has no prior criminal records and if found guilty, he will be sentenced to death or face a jail time of not more than 40 years. If he escaped the death sentence, the suspect would receive 12 strokes of cane.

We hope the suspect will receive fair punishment so that Jia Ling’s family can get justice.
