Customers who have visited all branches of Taj Restaurant in Kuantan between 30 November to 9 December and have developed any symptoms are urged to undergo the Covid-19 screening test at Indera Mahkota Health Clinic, Kuantan.
The Kuantan District Health Office in a statement on Facebook informed that the screening test was held as a drive-thru screening service and will end today.

He said in a statement, “To all Kuantan residents who have visited all branches of Taj Restaurant on November 30 to December 9 who have symptoms such as fever, cough and sore throat are asked to head over to Indera Mahkota Health Clinic for Covid-19 risk assessment screening.”
“Screening was conducted as a drive-thru manner from 9am to 5pm, only the initial screening to curb the spread of the epidemic,” he added on.
The Pahang Disaster Management Committee in a media statement informed that there was a positive case from the Kuala Cluster involving the restaurant workers.
He said the restaurant, has several branches operating with a centralized kitchen where the food was distributed to other branches.
“Based on the analysis made, this cluster is at high risk for transmission in the community,” he said.
