Proton has certainly made huge strides ever since their merger with Geely and churned out quality vehicles like the X70.
Named as Proton’s first SUV, the X70 has since sold 48,000 unit within the span of two years, exported to a number of countries such as Brunei, Indonesia, Pakistan and most recently Kenya.
Taking to Facebook. Proton Kenya announced their latest achievement, becoming the official vehicle of choice by the Kenya Police Service.
Taking to Facebook, Proton Kenya writes, “We are happy to announce that we have officially handed over 30 Proton X70 SUVs to the Kenya Police Service.”
“The Proton X70 will bring supreme style, superb stability, and comfort to the National Police Service as they execute their mandate.”
Commenting on the announcement, Malaysians lamented why unique colourways were made available there and not here.
Another commented on finally finding why there was an eight month waiting list – because some X70s were exported overseas.
In our opinion, it is glad to see that there are many out there who appreciate the products we churn out. Let’s see if there are more good news down the road for our Malaysian-made products.
