The pandemic has severely affected most of our livelihood, not only in terms of health but also in relation to the things we need to do to get by every day. For those who have lost their source of income, it is hard to imagine the struggle that they have to go through, especially if they are already old. When you see senior citizens still working hard even at an age that they are supposed to rest, it is sad, but to continue to survive, some of them are forced to work.

As shared by Ashraf Danny on TikTok, he stumbled upon an Atuk who is still hard-working as a food deliveryman. It is a sad sight to see the condition of this 68-year-old man. But even though his body is bent, his spirit is still strong.

According to Ashraf, this 68-year-old Atuk used to be a lorry driver and now he has to work as a food deliveryman to earn a living. In the short clip, we can actually see Atuk walking slowly with his back hunched, and yet, he still puts in the effort to deliver food in time.

Sad isn’t it? At this age, he should be at home, relaxing while maybe playing with his grandchildren after working for decades. However, we can only assume what his background is like. Hopefully, Atuk does not have to work any longer and we pray he can finally have time to rest at home.
