It is understandable for newlywed couples to want nice, out-of-the-box wedding photos. But, being out of the box doesn’t mean one is allowed to cause inconveniences to others or endanger oneself.

The #UpdateInfo Twitter page recently showcased footage of a couple taking wedding pictures on the KTMB Guillemard Bridge, before getting honked at by a KTM train and slowly trying to make their way off the bridge.

#UpdateInfo wrote, “Like there’s no other places (to take wedding photos).”

For those who may not know, the KTMB Guillemard Bridge is an iconic single-track railway truss bridge in Kelantan. Hence, it is for KTM trains and not pedestrians.

In the video, another man, who is the couple’s photographer, could also be seen running to get off the bridge as the train approached.

At one point, the train even had to stop to allow the couple to get off the bridge before it could carry on with its journey.

This didn’t sit right with Malaysians as they believed that the couple’s actions were selfish and dangerous.

“On top of walking slowly, they can also laugh.”

“Luckily there is a driver (on the train). If it was on auto-pilot or a driverless train, they would have become minced meat.”

bridge 3

“(Despite the train behind them), they’re walking slowly. It’s infuriating for me to watch.”

bridge 4

“How many minutes did you steal from the passengers of the train? Don’t inconvenience others lah.”

What do you think of the couple’s actions? Do feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.
