Malaysia is still a developing country and there’s nothing wrong with that. But here’s food for thought. What if KL is in another state and not close to Selangor? Like how the United States of America has its New York City?

Kedah MB, Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor recently said that Kedah would’ve been more developed if KL is there.

He said that in response to the claim that Selangor is the most developed state in Malaysia due to PH’s involvement in the state. Sanusi also added,

“Selangor is only developed because it’s close to KL. The state is just borrowing KL’s luck.”

Sanusi went on and said if KL is located in Kedah, Selangor will be left much further behind Kedah.

“With the current development that we have in the state, we’ll be much better if KL is in Kedah.”

“Selangor is not ALL good”

In a recent online discussion, Sanusi proved his point by saying not all places in Selangor are developed and in fact, some of the places are far from being developed, which is even worse than Kedah.

He believes that PH should not be using Selangor for its “portfolio” in the resume, saying it’s all about luck.

“Selangor alone can’t represent the wiseness of PH. They’re just borrowing KL’s luck.”

Fellow Malaysians, do you think Kedah will bloom further if KL is located there?
