The exploits of a Malaysian angler caught the attention of netizens recently after he proudly showed off what looked like to be 1 of the biggest catches of his life.
Shared by @pengedar_bungkusan on TikTok, a video of the man transporting a massive fish at the back of his motorcycle has garnered over 2.3 million views and 239,900 likes as of the time of writing.
Showing off a huge fish at the back of his motorbike
In the video recorded from inside a vehicle at a traffic light junction in Jitra, Kedah, the ‘kaki pancing’ or fishing enthusiast can be seen smiling from ear to ear while he stopped to wait for the green light at the junction.
As the video zooms in on the man, he can be seen carrying a fishing rod at the front of the motorcycle while a massive fish is tied up to the back seat.
Furthermore, the man can also be seen talking to the individuals inside the car beside him and the motorcyclist behind him with the biggest grin on his face.

Malaysians are amused by the angler’s action
In the comments section, many Malaysians were amused by the kaki pancing‘s joyfulness, with many fellow anglers wanting to know where he caught the massive fish.
One commenter joked that the man’s home was actually near the place where he caught the fish but he purposefully rides around town to show off the big catch.
Another person echoed the same sentiment, jokingly saying that the man is purposefully finding for roadblocks so that he can show off his catch.
Besides that, another commenter who’s also from Jitra was perplexed at where he went fishing in the town to catch such a big fish.
