As the pandemic restriction eases, many celebrities jumped on the opportunity to start having concerts again.
That being said, one of the earliest news that Malaysians received was Justin Bieber announcing his world tour dates. His ticket sales went live early this year, and many people were quick to buy his tickets.
Later on, he was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, a condition that paralyses half of his face. After resting and consulting with his doctors, team and family members, he decided to head over to Europe in hopes of continuing the world tour.
Just 2 hours ago, Justin released a statement on Instagram mentioning:
“I performed 6 live shows, but it took a real toll on me. This past weekend, I performed at Rock in Rio and I gave everything I have to the people in Brazil.”
“I realized that I need to make my health a priority now. So, I’m going to take a break from touring for the time being.”
Many fans were supportive of his decision and left comments telling him to take care and get well soon.
As of now, there are no updates on whether the concert in Malaysia will be postponed or cancelled.
Get well soon Justin, your health should always come first!
Stay tuned for more updates.
