JUST IN: Malaysia Will Be Celebrating Hari Raya On Monday, 2 May 2022!

Breaking news! Muslims in Malaysia will be celebrating Hari Raya Aidilfitri tomorrow (Monday, 2 May 2022). As reported by Astro Awani, this is according to the announcement made by the Keeper of the Rulers’ Seal, Tan Sri Syed Danial Syed Ahmad at around 8pm today.

Previously, there was a debate as to when Aidilfitri will be celebrated, with many countries around the globe announcing that the first day of the Islamic month of Syawal will be tomorrow. As reported by Utusan Malaysia, former Religious Affairs Minister and former Mufti for the Federal Territories, Datuk Seri Dr. Zulkifili Mohamad al-Bakri previously clarfiied that the decision for when 1 Syawal will be held in Malaysia can only be announced by the Conference of Rulers through the Keeper of the Rulers’ Seal.

Hence, after the announcement just now, Muslims in our country will be celebrating Aidilfitri tomorrow. Hence, we here at WORLD OF BUZZ would like to wish all Muslims in the country a blessed Eid El Fitr!
