Artist, entrepreneur and educationalist, Tan Sri Lim Kok Wing, has passed away today, 1 June.
Family members of Lim Kok Wing took to their Facebook today afternoon, breaking the sad news of his passing.
Lim Kok Wing’s ex-wife took to her Facebook on behalf of his children saying:
“Regarding the passing of a legend: Tan Sri Limkokwing
With sorrow and gratitude, we share the loss of our beloved father, Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Datuk Sri Paduka Dr Lim Kok Wing. We thank everyone for their generous outpouring of condolences.
Our father was a great man with a vision that helped place Malaysia on the global education map. We are deeply heartbroken over his passing, and wish to be allowed privacy at this time for us to mourn a man we deeply love.
– Lim Kok Wing Jr & Tiffanee Marie Lim”.
Lim Kok Wing University of Creative Technology too released a statement to inform of his passing.
