With many rumours and speculation spreading on social media platforms on the current political situation in Malaysia, the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Khairy Jamaluddin just took to his Instagram story to state a recent development on the state of the affairs.
In the said posting at 1.10pm, the coordinating minister for Covid-19 vaccines said that the current cabinet has tendered their resignation to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
“The cabinet has tendered our resignation to the Agong.”
“Thank you for the opportunity to, once again, serve the nation.”
“May God bless Malaysia.”
According to BERNAMA, Muhyiddin Yassin was seen leaving Istana Negara after being on the premises for 40 minutes. He has since gone back to his residence in Bukit Damansara.
