No proper clothes, food, shelter, and love. 4-year-old Megan Khung was brutally abused to death by her mother and her boyfriend in Singapore before the pair burnt her corpse in a barrel in 2020.
Megan’s biological father, Simon, recently penned a heartfelt post on his Instagram @simonboyyyyyyy for the little girl and shared a video he made for Megan in 2022 – 2 years after she left the world. In the post, Simon said that despite the horrific murder, he had forgiven Foo for what she did.

“And yes Megan, I’ve forgiven your mother. I know this is what you want and hope for.”
“You don’t worry about us. Go and have fun with our Lord Jesus now. Fly high, baby.”

In the video, Simon was seen returning to his smoking habit, which he stopped for Megan, but now that his beloved daughter was no longer here, Simon was contemplating if he should revisit his chain-smoking habit. However, Simon decided to put down the cigarette eventually, which aligned with what Simon aims to do today – say no to drugs.
“I will use whatever that’s left to help other fathers not lose their kids today. I will be the ambassador of #saynotodrugs till my very last breath,” Simon remarked in his post.

Simon last saw Megan in 2017 before he served a 3-year sentence in a drug rehabilitation center. Foo and her boyfriend were also caught with narcotics at their house. Foo and Simon tied the knot in 2015 before they split in the same year.

Foo and her boyfriend were arrested by the police in July 2020, 2 months after Megan was burnt. The arrest came after Simon lodged a police report because he was worried about Megan’s safety. Foo and her partner both pleaded guilty to the charges they faced.
Despite the constant abuse, Megan’s last words to her mum were, “I’m sorry, Mummy.”
