For many Klang Valley residents, you’re probably no stranger to the atas luxury of Pavilion shopping centre in the very heart of KL, and of course, the incredible movie-going experience offered at GSC Cinemas there. After all, it’s considered to be one of the best places to catch the latest blockbuster flick given its prime location. I’m pretty sure many of us had fond memories of watching movies there as teenagers, right?

Well, for those of us who grew up with Pavilion’s incredible GSC Cinemas flagship outlet, we have some sad news to report. According to GSC Cinema’s official Facebook page, it has been confirmed that the long-standing cinema will be closing its doors for good.

Considered to be one of the more premium GSC outlets among the ones that are available in the Klang Valley area, GSC Pavilion has been in operation since 2007. According to the notice that was posted by the company, the cinema will still be in operation until 16th February 2020.

Which means you have less than a week to catch your favourite movies there, before the cinema closes down for good!

This is further confirmed by a photo of a notice placed outside GSC Pavilion’s entrance, which was submitted to WORLD OF BUZZ by a fellow reader.

Honestly, having been to GSC Pavilion so many times, I’m sure most of us are sad to hear that the cinema will be gone for good. Share with us your fondest memories of being at GSC Pavilion!
