“It breaks our hearts,” Resort Begs Local Tourists to Stop Damaging Their Tulip Flowers
Now that the government has given Malaysians the freedom to cross states, many of us are rushing to go on holidays in local tourist spots. With more people coming in, it means that staff in some places might have a harder time controlling unruly behaviour by tourists.
A lake resort in Perlis took to Facebook to share their experience with inconsiderate tourists.

They started off the post by asking netizens if they thought that the artificial tulips installed are nice and if it is nicer at night when it is dark. They explained that they had hoped for the tourists to treat them with care as their maintenance staff were the ones who made the flowers one by one.
“We hope for everyone to cooperate with us. Please treat the flowers with care, do not step, sit, lie down on or pluck the flowers.”
The resort’s post was written in a gentle tone. They even attached a few pictures of the beautiful artificial tulip installment that they have on their premises. A few of the pictures reflect the inconsiderate behaviour of certain tourists who lied down on the flowers or sat on them.
In addition to adhering to the SOPs, we still need to be considerate when we go on vacations. What are your thoughts on this? Let us know.
