A 12-year-old girl has been left traumatised after she had to witness her father beating up and stabbing her mother to death in their home in Ipoh, Perak, today (June 12).

According to a report by Sin Chew Daily, the whole incident started off as a domestic violence case that went horribly wrong.

It all started when the couple and their 12-year-old daughter returned home after going out for breakfast. The couple had got into an argument which led the man to knock his wife to the ground and beat her with various objects.

He then apparently stabbed her with a knife, which caused her immediate death at around 8:30am.

This entire situation allegedly happened in front of their daughter. The girl quickly called her relatives for help and their neighbours also called the police.

Their family members also revealed that the man has a history of beating up his wife.

We genuinely hope that the girl heals from this extremely traumatic experience.
