In the newest update, KL Police Chief Datuk Allaudeen Abdul Majid has said that PDRM has already opened up investigation papers for the case that took place in the parking lot of Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz (HCTM), Cheras on October 5, as reported by ASTRO AWANI.

Even though they have done so, the KL police chief mentioned that they are giving the grieving parents some time and space before recording their statements.

“Investigation papers have already been opened and investigations will be done based on Section 31(1)(a) of the Child Act 2001, abandnment of child.”

According to ASTRO AWANI, the child’s mother received a phone call from her husband at around 5:30 pm telling her their child was not at the nursery.

After rechecking with her husband, she then went to her car to check and saw that her 8-month-old baby was motionless in the back seat. She tried to perform CPR on the infant and even took her to the hospital’s emergency department, but it was already too late.

Stay tuned for more updates.
