A group of 19 individuals were arrested by PDRM last week for rioting and using weapons to inflict harm at a restaurant in Skudai, Johor. The gang members, aged 13 to 46, attacked a small group of friends outside a restaurant. Six of the gang members have criminal records.
All suspects were brought to the Johor Bahru Court this morning (May 28) to face charges, and one of the suspects seemed happy to be there.

He posed with a peace sign and told the media, “I’m the most handsome.”
According to Oriental Daily, the suspects, who were all cuffed, faced the media calmly, although some of them “complained” about the media team continuously filming them. The police are investigating the suspects under Section 148 (rioting with weapons) and Section 326 (causing grievous hurt to others with dangerous weapons) of the Penal Code.

According to an earlier report, Iskandar Puteri District Police Chief issued a statement confirming that the above case occurred at around 12:40 AM on May 17 at a coffee shop in Tiara Garden, Skudai. One of the victims, a 20-year-old female, lodged a police report at 3:36 AM on the same night.
According to the victim, she was with three other men when they were attacked by a group of local men using parangs and rattan sticks.
The suspects were arrested between 5 PM on the same day to 4 AM on the next day.
