Stall owners and visitors of the Tanjung Tokong Ramadan bazaar were in a frenzy when the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and the Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah visited the bazaar on Thursday, April 6th.

Al-Sultan Abdullah and Tunku Azizah visited Penang for three days till April 8th and had the chance to spend an hour shopping for a variety of food and drinks at the Ramadan bazaar.

Visitors were excited by Their Majesties’ presence and many were asking for photos to immortalise the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

The same could be said for Air Balang stall owners, Muhammad Khairil Hanif and Muhammad Arif Syahmi.

Muhammad Khairil, more commonly known as Kai, told WORLD OF BUZZ that he and his brother did not expect to get the chance to meet The Majesties.

But to their surprise, the King and Queen visited their stall.

Not only did the brothers get their photos, Their Majesties also took the chance to buy some drinks from them.

In Arif’s TikTok video that has since gone viral, netizens can’t get over how the King requested to buy Air Jagung (a sweet corn drink) from the stall.

Unexpectedly, it seems that Malaysia’s King enjoys the corny drink.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Kai said that he and his brother have been sellers at the Ramadan bazaar for 3 years already and started only selling drinks last year.

Kai said that he feels lucky that Their Majesties took the time to visit their stall.
