A Malaysian TikToker recently shook the internet after a live clip of him mumbling before licking the floor circulated on social media.

The live video, which was broadcast live on TikTok for about nine minutes, saw the TikToker, known as Prince Syed, lying on the floor of his house before he started licking the floor. The 33-year-old man was also heard screaming for help before the video abruptly ended.

The clip not only shook his followers, but many social media users said they were frightened by Syed’s sudden, odd behaviour.

It was meant to be a distress call

Days after the circulation of the video, Prince Syed broke the silence and revealed that “something sinister” was going on at his house during the incident. In a shocking reveal, Syed said that he was with three other family members at home who tried to call for help, but no one answered their calls.

As Syed was in distress, he picked up his phone and started a live video, which was meant to notify his friends and other family members who knew the location of his house.

“I didn’t care much. I wanted to send a notification to my neighbours or my other family members.”

“Fortunately, my mum, other siblings, and neighbours came to my rescue.”

According to Syed, by the time he regained consciousness, he was already in the car with his eldest brother. He added that he has the video of him being rescued at home, but he deemed it “too scary to share.”

Possessed, supernatural disturbance at home?

Syed also said that he wasn’t sure if he was possessed during the incident, or if someone had performed black magic and “sent something” to his house. As for now, Syed is still recuperating, and urged the public to understand his situation.

Syed also added that the live video was not meant to be sensationalised, but he merely wanted to call for help.
