All malls, regardless of where they are, are meant for everyone to visit. A man recently voiced out about what he thinks about a mall in Mont Kiara – the place is not like what it used to be.
In a Google review of Sunway 163 Mall, previously known as 163 Retail Park, a visitor lamented about the current name of the mall, saying its previous name carried more “luxurious vibes.” The name, however, was not the only issue he had.
Recently, he started to see drivers of local cars visiting the mall and thought the group of visitors might make the place seem more fitting for the B40s. To the visitor, it is a concern that he finds the need to highlight.
“Hopefully the B40 won’t patronize this mall. Been seeing a lot of Perodua and Proton drivers recently.”
Generally, the mall itself gained 4.3/5 stars with over 2,600 reviews.
Most of the positive feedback for the mall highlighted the place’s open concept and its plethora of F&B outlet options, including its greenery atmosphere.
163 Retail Park was rebranded as Sunway 163 Mall in October 2024 after the RM215 million acquisition was completed.
To those who frequent the mall, what do you think of the place, and what do you think of the visitor’s comment?
