According to dashcam footage circulating on social media, the incident is believed to have occurred around noon on Sunday (31 May) on the LDP near the Taman Perindustrian Puchong LRT station.
The video shows the black sedan travelling in the wrong direction along the middle lane. Moments before the collision, a vehicle ahead of the victim managed to avoid the oncoming sedan.

Driver flees the scene after collision
Following the collision, the driver of the black sedan did not stop to address the incident. Instead, the vehicle continued driving against traffic and fled the scene. The driver of the damaged car subsequently pulled over to the roadside to inspect the damage and review the dashcam footage.

Driving against the flow of traffic is a serious traffic offence that endangers the lives of all road users. Under Section 42 of Malaysia’s Road Transport Act 1987, motorists who drive recklessly or in a manner that is dangerous to the public can face severe penalties, including fines, imprisonment, and the suspension or revocation of their driving licence upon conviction.
Authorities have repeatedly reminded drivers to remain alert and comply with traffic regulations to prevent avoidable accidents and loss of life. At the time of writing, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has yet to release an official statement regarding the matter.
