Taking care of your pets can be pretty costly, this is a fact most pet owners will know well enough. But thing is, we’re willing to go through some crazy lengths to ensure that our cherished pets turn out okay and can live out their best lives with us.
But as we know, compassion and empathy knows no boundaries as most people tend to feel our heartstrings tug when we see a helpless animal in need. In a recent Facebook post, a woman who goes by J Yii Zhen has been seeking out the help of netizens to fund for a puppy’s much needed surgery!

Born from a stray dog who had lived around Zhen’s neighbourhood, the poor puppy was unfortunately hit by a car recently and wound up sustaining some pretty bad injuries! After bringing the injured puppy to the vet, she was told that its back bone was fractured and her leg bone was dislocated, both which requires immediate treatment.
Even her intestines were displaced!

The cost of the surgery amounted to a few thousand Ringgit, but this isn’t taking into account the other expenses incurred after the surgery has been completed, as the puppy will have problems with defecation and needs extra care.

Miraculously, with the help of Malaysians everywhere, the funds needed for the puppy’s surgery for its intestines was raised just in time, and she is reportedly undergoing treatment.

However, the bone surgery for its back and leg will have to wait on a later date. Veterinarians handling her case say that they can’t promise the puppy will wake up after anesthesia.
