Guy Buys Fish & Chips From ‘Atas’ Singaporean Restaurant, Turned Out to be Ikan Bilis!
When it comes to fine dining, we are all prepared for small portions in everything we order. The foods in this ‘atas’ restaurants concentrate on the quality, taste and presentation of the foods rather than the portion.
A restaurant & lounge located in the Marina Bay Financial Centre Tower in Singapore is one of those fine dining restaurants where you have to dress up for and will end up spending a bomb.
But they took it too far with their misleading name for their ‘Fish and Chips’ dish!
One unlucky guy who fell for their miserable fish and chip was Jaze Phua who shared the horrifying dish onto Facebook.
He wrote,
“At first, I thought this is just the appetiser. Turns out this is the SGD17.50 (RM54.31) dish.
“It’s like buying a car and they give you a toy car but for the same price!”

The picture went viral on Facebook as people could not believe anyone would pay such a high price for a measly dish like this.
In fact, Jaze isn’t the first person to have been tricked by the restaurant’s ambiguous name for its dish.
Hayley complained on the restaurant’s Facebook page too about this fish and chips.
She wrote,
Millie also echoed her disappointment in the restaurant as she said,
One netizen even reacted with sarcasm towards this massive plate of lies.
Others noted all the other things they could have spent their money on. What would you use your SGD17.50 or RM54.31 for instead of this dish?
