“Get married first, pay later” – Wedding Package for Under RM2K in Thailand for M’sians Goes Viral

A wedding is one of the significant highlights, and also one of the events where the lovebirds are likely to spend a lot to make it happen.

In Thailand, however, you can get married without burning a hole in your wallet and your bank account. In a viral TikTok post by @khairulnikahthailand, the man revealed that Malaysians can get married in Thailand for JUST RM1,699.

And that’s not all.

If you still can’t afford the pay the price in one lump sum, as the name of the package suggests, you can get married first and pay later. 

No deposits or downpayment is needed to tie the knot in Thailand.

Just when you thought loans were only applicable for online shopping, cars, and houses. The wedding business organisation also promised a smooth and easy process of the ceremony and said they could help with matters concerning documents.

“Worry about documents that cannot be validated with the Malaysian Embassy? We can help with that,” said the organisation based in Songkhla.
