Social media influencer and motorsport enthusiast YS Khong had a go at the new PROTON X90 when he took it for a spin to Genting Highlands, Pahang.
By now, you would have just heard about the PROTON X90, but most probably have a pretty good picture of what’s on offer, until a video of this man unleashing the beast made its way onto social media.
Entitled PROTON X90 Teaser Drive Genting Uphill, the 20-minut video featured YS Khong and a few passengers taking the D-segment SUV.
“The route was up our favorite mountain, and this provided a great opportunity for the media to check out the new powertrain, which consists of the familiar 1.5 liter 3-cylinder turbocharged engine.”
“It now has a mild hybrid system that contributes 13 PS and 45 Nm of torque, giving a total output of 190 PS and 300 Nm of torque.”
Testing the car in its various modes, we have to say that the vehicle looks handsome.
