Former Chief of Justice, Tun Salleh Abas Has Tested Positive Covid-19

After several ministers were infected with the Covid-19 virus.

Former Chief of Justice, Tun Dr Mohamed Salleh Abas is confirmed to have tested positive for Covid-19.

According to a report from Bernama, the President and Chief Executive Officer of as-Salihin Trustee Berhad Abdul Aziz Peru Mohamed said Mohamed Salleh who is also the chairman of the trust company is currently being treated at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital (HSNZ) and is in a stable condition.

However, he also said that the hospital took precautionary measures due to Tun’s age and he invited the public to pray for Tun’s best health.

“May God grant healing and facilitate all his affairs,” he said in a statement yesterday.

The Terengganu State Health Director, Dr Nor Azimi Yunus also has confirmed that Mohamed Salleh is being treated at HSNZ.

However, he did not elaborate on the details about the situation.
