Federal Territories Minister Gives Out Personal Phone Number For Public To Report Road Damage In KL

The Ministry of Federal Territories has given their assurance that complaints in regards to road damage in Kuala Lumpur will be resolved within 24 hours.

But wait, that’s not all.

According to a report by Astro Awani, Federal Territories Minister, Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim has revealed his personal phone number to the public, urging them to send complaints directly to him regarding road damage in the capital city.

He shared that the Ministry also instructed the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) to monitor the conditions of roads near development projects and key focus areas.

Shahidan not only shared his own phone number but the numbers of his Deputy, Datuk Seri Jalaluddin Alias and the Kuala Lumpur Mayor, Datuk Seri Mahadi Che Ngah.

“I have discussed with DBKL and instructed that any complaints and grievances and notifications of road damage should be acted upon immediately within 24 hours,” he said.

“We will be ready 24 hours a day. Malaysians can call in. Newcomers to Kuala Lumpur, if they find any potholes or dangerous aspect of the road, contact us and we will take action within 24 hours,” he added during his session of the 12th Malaysia Plan (RMK-12) in the House of Representatives.
