The authorities managed to catch Joshua and he was  sentenced to six and a half years in prison and six lashes in 2016 on several charges related to the case.

As reported by CNA, After a lengthy trial, District Judge Mathew Joseph found both Zackeer and Anwer guilty of conspiracy to intentionally cause serious injury. The judge ruled that the prosecution had already proven their case.

We are unsure of the fate of Zam Zam Restaurant after this as both of the owners are charged. Hopefully, the restaurant can continue to serve the people as sometimes, the leaders can be crappy, but the workforce are the life of the organization.
