After Tim Ho Wan ran out of good luck (geddit geddit?) and closed down days ago, another well-known restaurant unfortunately suffered the same fate.

Just last night, a famous Korean barbecue restaurant, Bulgogi Brothers shockingly announced on their official Facebook page that they have closed down for good. Nooooo….

“All good things must come to an end. We would like to thank all our customers for your unwavering support throughout the years. It’s been an absolute pleasure to serve all of you.”

Founded in 2006, this famous K-barbecue restaurant quickly rose to fame and gained recognition among foodies around the world. In Korea alone, Bulgogi Brothers has over 40 outlets!

Meanwhile in Malaysia, the first-ever Bulgogi Brothers was opened in Paradigm Mall in 2012, followed by three other branches at eCurve, Mid Valley Megamall and Pavillion. Malaysians especially meat-lovers were absolutely in love with their food. Who could resist all those juicy, tender meat?

Many loyal customers of Bulgogi Brothers were saddened by this shocking announcement.

“I love the food here as they’re very delicious, but it’s too pricey for me to go often. Maybe change the price and make a comeback?” a netizen said.

“Why are all the famous Korean businesses closing down in Malaysia? I’ve never been there before!” another commented.

2017 is indeed a very eventful year for Malaysians as so many reputable businesses has retreated from Malaysia. Let’s hope Bulgogi Brothers is the last one to join the family.
