FamilyMart is Finally Coming to Kelantan After 9 Years, First 3 Outlet Locations Confirmed!

After waiting for a whole 9 years, FamilyMart is finally making its way to Kelantan, and not just to one place, but three!

The famous Japanese convenience store chain is all set to open its first-ever outlets in Tunjung, Wakaf Che Yeh, and Gua Musang, giving locals something they’ve been hoping for for nearly a decade.

They’re offering various job openings

Kelantan State Tourism made an official announcement on Facebook, and along with the exciting news, they also shared a job listing for the upcoming convenience store.

They’ve opened up job opportunities for various positions, including outlet managers, assistant managers, supervisors, and store assistants, giving locals a chance to be part of the team.

Interview details

They’re offering a starting salary ranging from RM2,320 to RM5,880, along with details about the interview:

📅 Date: March 19 (Wednesday) – March 20, 2025 (Thursday)
Time: 9 AM – 3 PM
📍 Location: Dewan Cik Siti Wan Kembang, Level 6, Wisma PERKESO Negeri Kelantan

FamilyMart has expanded to 360 stores!

FamilyMart opened its first store in Malaysia back in November 2016 and has since expanded beyond just Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, reaching states like Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Johor, Pahang, Perak, and Penang, according to QL.

Their ready-to-eat meals come from FamilyMart’s central kitchen, QL Kitchen Sdn Bhd, which is also certified halal by JAKIM.

As of May 2023, FamilyMart has grown to 360 stores across Malaysia, as reported by Inside Retail.
