According to Sina, Liu said that when she was looking for a job in August, she saw an ad for an administrative position in an Hangzhou company requiring no prior experience.

After applying for the job, she was told that the workload is very little and her main job is to actually take care of the boss’ 2 cats.

“I’m responsible for feeding the cats, changing their water, cutting their nails, shoveling their faeces, etc. I work from 9 to 5, on both weekdays and weekends.”

The cats live in the office and have separate rooms with each being 20 to 30 square meters. Liu Hui’s boss cherishes his cats and will often visit them after he comes back from business trips or even on weekends.
