Daily Covid-19 pressers that we have enjoyed thus far will come to an end, according to Director-General Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

Rest assured, Dr Noor Hisham added that the Health Ministry will continue to play a vital role by providing the public with the latest statistics on the virus.

“We will continue to provide the latest information but perhaps we will space out the press conferences next week.”

Currently, daily updates will continue in the form of press statements and the changes made were due to the downward trend of Covid-19 cases in Malaysia.

In the future, Malaysians can no longer enjoy the appearance of Dr Noor Hisham and his daily live streamings which initially began on 27 February.

In our eyes, the team at the Ministry of Health deserves a much-needed break for their efforts in looking after all of us and flattening the curve for Malaysia!
