Following the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al Mustafa Billah Shah’s visit to Taman Cahaya Alam, Section U12 to see for himself the giant mural painting of himself, Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah has also made the trip down to visit the giant mural.

Sharing his experience through Twitter, @DGHisham took the time off his busy schedule and posed before the giant mural just like what the Yang di-Pertuan Agong did during his visit.

Sharing his thoughts on social media, here is what D-G Noor Hisham had to say, “I was there this morning and I felt a strong patriotic spirit among Malaysians.”

“I would like to express my deep appreciation to all the brilliantly talented artists with their extraordinary skills and artwork.”

“It goes to show that everyone has a role in this pandemic crisis.”

The mural, which was created by three painters – Muhammad Suhaimi Ali, Abdul Hadi Ramli and Muhamad Firdaus Nordin – was their way of appreciating the leaders and fellow countrymen for what they have done for the nation.

Receiving more than 17.5k retweets, Malaysians have also taken the opportunity to thank the Health Director-General for his leadership and help in guiding Malaysia through the Covid-19 pandemic.
