Dr Maszlee Malik is back in the teaching industry!

On 21 March 2023, Dr Maszlee Malik, the former Minister of Education in Malaysia, announced that he is now a professor and lecturer at the University of Cyberjaya.

“Back to teaching… Thank you @unicyberjaya for the trust given. I will be giving lectures on selected topics in humanities and education-related subjects.” he stated in his Facebook posting where he shared a picture of him as Prof. Dr. Maszlee bin Malik at the university.

On 10 March, the University of Cyberjaya posted a picture of Maszlee Malik and the university’s vice-chancellor and stated that he will be a Professor lecturing in the field of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Many netizens expressed their happiness and congratulated Maszlee Malik on the new position, saying that this is great news. Some netizens also thanked him for his service as a Minister of Education in the past.
