“Diabetes says hi” – M’sians React to Vendor Pouring a Whole Can of Condensed Milk into a Cup of Teh Ais

A viral video transcended national borders and caught the attention of Malaysians recently, showing a vendor at an undisclosed location in Thailand making a cup of iced milk tea, or ‘Teh Ais’ as it’s known in most parts of Malaysia.

Shared by Thai netizen @ananblinkblinkthe video has been viewed over 12.3 million times as of the time of writing, garnering more than 626,700 likes in the process.

 

A vendor goes viral for pouring a whole can of condensed milk inside a ‘Teh Ais’

In the video, a female vendor can be seen pouring condensed milk into a glass of tea, a common ingredient used in ‘Teh Ais’ in both Thailand and Malaysia.

What sets this particular cup of milk tea apart is the amount of condensed milk she used as, get this, she poured the whole can of condensed milk into the drink!

At the end of the video, you can clearly see that the condensed milk makes up more than half of the cup, and we can only imagine how sweet the concoction is.

Malaysians share their two cents on the video

The comments section of the video was flooded by Malaysians, with many joking about how the drink is perfect for those who want to develop health issues.

One commenter joked that the super sweet drink is completely safe as he often drinks something similar, adding that he’s speaking based on his experience of still having legs in the past. He had us in the first half, not gonna lie!

Meanwhile, one commenter said that the first sip of the drink tastes like heaven, while the second sip takes you to heaven.

Besides that, one Malaysian said that diabetes sends its regards after seeing the video.
