This is a really horrifying and heartbreaking incident that has enraged many netizens around the world! A truly shocking video of a man viciously punching an innocent dog in a bathtub has gone viral as netizens simply could not believe that someone can be so cruel.

In the video, which is believed to have taken place in Yiwu City, China, the dog can be seen lying in a bathtub and facing the camera. It is tied up and its mouth was bound together tightly with what looks like cellophane tape so the poor animal is helpless, Line Today reported.
The video which is believed to have been taken last month (Feb 2019), lasts less than one minute and is really difficult to watch. What’s even worse is that the man seems to be really enjoying abusing the dog as he looks at the camera the whole time with a smile on his face. That’s not all, the man’s young daughter is also reportedly watching him torture the dog. Seriously, WTF is wrong with him?

He catches hold of the dog, who seems to sense that something is wrong, before punching it repeatedly on its head. The dog can only helplessly lie there with its legs shaking horribly from the trauma it’s experiencing as blood flows out from its nose and mouth due to internal injuries.Â
It is unclear whether the dog died from the brutal beating but the man was apparently really proud of the video and uploaded it on Chinese social media himself. He even bragged about his actions but the video was taken down after that. Netizens who saw it were outraged and he received severe backlash over the video. Many of them cursed the man while some said that he would receive his karma for the incident.

It was reported that Chinese activists are planning to offer a hefty reward to anyone who can identify the man. Meanwhile, a petition has been started on Yousign by Vonda Richey, with the subject being, “Help protect the animals of China from people like this!”.
The petition is directed at the Chinese premier, Li Keqiang demanding that he implements better and stricter animal welfare laws in the country. The petition adds that the animals deserve better and they want a deep and meaningful reform to these laws without further delay.
