Love is (literally) in the air.

According to 9news, the state of Tamil Nadu, recently imposed tougher restrictions, limiting weddings to 50 guests due to the brutal coronavirus wave in India.

The video footage posted on social media appeared to show the couple and their guests almost jam-packed into the hired SpiceJet. The groom then tied the Mangalsutra around the bride’s neck while the photographer appeared to encourage them to smile for the camera towards the end.
The couple, Rakesh and Dakshina were married as the SpiceJet plane flew over the historic Meenakshi Amman temple on its way from Madurai to Bangalore, according to a report by Hindustan Times.
Hardly any of them are wearing masks and social-distancing rules were blatantly ignored, which violated civil aviation rules. SpiceJet said that despite repeated requests and reminders, the passengers did not follow Covid-19 guidelines and the airline is taking appropriate action as per the rules, wrote India Today.
The SpiceJet crew has since been pulled off the roster after the video circulated online, and The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) initiated an inquiry seeking detailed reports of the mid-air wedding ceremony, the Hindustan Times newspaper said.
