Being monogamous to someone means not seeking romantic company from other people and it seems some people find a thrill from being unfaithful.

Recently, a 37-year-old woman who is also a civil servant has been caught by the religious department in Penang for having an affair with a colleague.

It is said that the woman’s husband had made a complaint to the Pulau Pinang Islamic Religious Affairs Department after knowing his cheating wife’s location, reported mStar.

After getting the complaint, a group of personnel was sent to a hotel at Tanjung Tokong at 1:30 am to check on the pair.

“A check on them shows that they were cohabitating without being officially married.”

The duo was subsequently arrested following Section 27 of the Penang Syariah Criminal Enactment 1996 for khalwat.

According to Harian Metro, the woman’s husband who is a stroke survivor, was also at the scene of the raid.

This is certainly something that is very unsavoury, we hope that the man will stay strong and keep moving forward.
