In a dramatic turn of events, it has been revealed to the Malay Mail by a source close to PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim that Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail may replace Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad as the interim Prime Minister of Malaysia. It is yet to be confirmed whether Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim himself will be officiated in the position later on.

The same source also told Malay Mail that Economic Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Azmin Ali who is also PKR deputy president and his right-hand woman Housing and Local Government Minister Zuraida Kamaruddin, had been fired from their positions, which has been confirmed by the party’s secretary-general Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail during a press conference at PKR headquarters just moments ago.

This is a developing story and additional updates will be included as they are made available to press.
