We all rely on a bit of help from our friends, even cattle! As we discover more about them, it’s evident that humans and cattle share common ground, especially in having complex emotional lives.
In a recent heartwarming video by TikTok user @fashafelisa, she can be seen reunited with an old friend that she hadn’t seen for a month.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Fasha shared that her family had never owned a cattle before. Bobby, the cattle, was the only one she ever had and raised since it was just 2 months old.
She mentioned that Bobby needed a mother at that time, so she took care of Bobby, making sure it got enough love and attention. This was especially important because charolais cattle aren’t easy to care for, and they don’t tend to live long.
Fasha mentioned that Bobby was considered fortunate because she had a lot of free time. However, when she became busy, they had to spend some time apart.
“I used to give Bobby milk and food, accompany it during meals, and take it for a walk. Luckily, I had some free time back then. However, things got busy, and I had to be away for a little while.”
She mentioned that during her time away, Bobby had lost weight, presumably because it missed her. To make sure Bobby was eating, she had to resort to video calls every time it had a meal.
“Seeing someone through video calls just doesn’t quite capture the same feeling as meeting them in person. Still, I just hope everyone can pray that I’m alive and well, able to continue looking after Bobby for the long haul.”
People on the internet quickly filled the comments to express their love and support.
“Bobby is adorable. It seems well-behaved. I used to have a similar one, but it didn’t live long as it was poisoned.”
“I hope you can look after Bobby for the rest of its life.”
“Bobby looks adorable, all white and clean. He could easily be mistaken for a big cat.”
“Bobby looks so happy.”
